Service Desk Specialist

InCadence Strategic Solutions is currently seeking a Service Desk Specialist to work on our customer site in Fort Belvoir, VA. All Candidates MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI SECURITY CLEARANCE. The Service Desk Specialist will join our team which provides IT repair maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of Army Military Intelligence Enterprise IT Systems.
•Provide afterhours desktop support and Network Operations Center monitoring on a modified 16x7 schedule including weekends and holidays.
•Monitor large enterprise Network Operation Center and respond to system events with Tier 1 support, elevating as needed to activate Tier 2 support actions.
•Provide Tier I contact and incident resolution to customers with hardware, software, and application problems.
• Enterprise problem resolution using established SOPs and Run Books.
•Full emergency system power down following established procedures.
• Resolution of incidents during the first call or at Tier I.
• Documenting incident status using incident management systems and database tools.
• Support data transfer activities across networks and classification levels (cross domain).
• Prepare for and support Emergency Action Planning and preparation activities for a variety of scenarios.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: •MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI SECURITY CLEARANCE
•High School diploma or GED and 3+ years of related experience in a Windows environment, call center, and/or service desk environment.
•Knowledge of Large Enterprise-level Experience in supporting multiple Operating Systems and environments.
•Working knowledge of computers, printers, laptops and common windows applications.
•DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract
•Required Baseline/Security IAT II 8570 Baseline Certification -Sec+CE or equivalent
•Required Microsoft Windows 10, or Microsoft Server 2012, or Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS). ONE EXAM OF MICROSOFT SERVER 2012 BEFORE START IS ACCEPTED. (EXAMPLE: 70-410)
